And the Sun Rises

I pay more or less 3k a month for my landline and spend quite a lot for my cel phone bills. I am using prepaid. If you're wondering why I prefer scratching cards or giving out my number to a sari-sari store tindera for a 115 peso e-load than a more convenient monthly postpaid plan, I'd say blame the customer service lady in SM Fairview. She was Helga Pataki made 15 years older. She gave me that gad-awful stare and spoke to me with clear indifference. I didn't bother to inform the manager about it, and I never did bother going back to that Smart office. I don't deal with women with PMS. My mom and most female friends of mine taught me about that a long time ago.

Anyway, I'm just all praises for Sun Cel. Their 24/7 unlimited calls and messaging strategy already proved to be the next best thing for our celphone-frenzied population. I am not promoting the phone company. They can very much do that without a relatively unknown blogger's help. It's apparent that arch-rivals Smart and Globe need to do some major planning. Raising a childish complaint against Sun clearly manifests a desperate move. But it is not good enough to put Sun out of the way. They have to pull their rates down, that's what they badly need to do. Hiring expensive celebrities to flaunt their products is no longer a smart move. Pun intended.

About PLDT, they have this 10 peso unlimited rate if you're calling a Smart number. This promo's bound to end today. Sweet talk for the month of hearts. Just that. Nothing more.
